Jean embarked on her music journey in 2006 when she took up singing lessons at the age of 13. She is also a frequent performer at Singapore Street Festival since she ventured into the music industry. 

In 2013, she became the 2nd runner up in Singapore's national television singing competition "The Final 1" Season 1, and that gave her the opportunity to perform in events such as the President's Star Charity 2013 and Celebrate SG50. 

Jean hopes to inspire future performers to never ever give up on their passion, and to continue working on it even when the going seems tough
